In the comparison analysis, lower lymphocytes, higher white blood cells (WBC), lower platelets, a lower level of albumin, higher ALT/AST, higher BUN, higher creatine, higher C-reactive protein (CRP), higher glucose, higher LDH, and higher aPTT were associated with severe pneumonia and death in elderly patients with COVID-19 (Figure 1 and Table S1). Here, CRP is linked to susceptibility to pneumonia measurement.
