ACE and hyperlipidemia: Before propensity score weighting, the AMI patients were younger, more often male, with a higher rate of hyperlipidemia, more frequently prescribed angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and statins, more frequently treated with unfractionated heparin, enoxaparin, glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors during hospitalization, and required periprocedural implantation of intra-aortic balloon pump.
