Our results revealed that TaYS1A directly interacted with TaNH2, and silencing of TaYS1A significantly reduced the transcript level of TaNH2. The transcript levels of TaPR1 and TaPR2 were also significantly diminished in TaYS1A-silenced leaves after infection with either CYR23 or CYR31. The gene discussed is HAPSTR1; the disease is infection.
