The distributions of sex, number of people with BMI > 25, history of colorectal surgery, preoperative serum CEA levels, serum albumin levels, and pathologic results (TNM stage, histologic type, histology grade, and tumor size) were significantly different between the 2 groups (P≤0.05, SD≥0.20) before PSW; however, this was rectified through PSW.
