Consequently, tumor subtypes were classified into three MHC subgroups (Figure 2, Table 1, Supplementary Figure 1): (i) with clearly elevated expression of MHC (MHC-high) in 8 cancer subtypes, (ii) with intermediate elevation of MHC expression (MHC-intermediate) in 21 cancer subtypes, and (iii) with clearly decreased expression of MHC (MHC-low) in 26 cancer subtypes.
