Similar results could be observed in the expression of selectin-l (0.47 ± 0.22 vs. 0.24 ± 0.16, P = 0.0085) and IL-13 (0.0022 ± 0.0009 vs. 0.0005 ± 0.0003, P = 0.005) (Figures 3(b) and 3(d)), both of which increased in PBMC from SLE patients. The gene discussed is SELL; the disease is systemic lupus erythematosus.
