CRP and congenital secretory chloride diarrhea 1: For the prediction of severe disease course, CLD (specificity: 0.97, 95% CI: 0.95–0.98) and chronic hepatitis B infection (specificity: 0.97, 95% CI: 0.95–0.98) were highly specific, and platelet count (specificity: 0.86, 95% CI: 0.77–0.91), ALT (specificity: 0.80, 95% CI: 0.66–0.89), and AST (specificity: 0.84, 95% CI: 0.77–0.88) were moderately specific, whereas high sensitivity was reached by CRP (sensitivity: 0.91, 95% CI: 0.82–0.96).
