The results demonstrated that the expression levels of RAMP2-AS1 (P<0.05), CD44 (P<0.05), CCND3 (P<0.001), NCALD (P<0.01) and MACF1 (P<0.001) were significantly downregulated, while miR-296-5p expression (P<0.0001) was significantly upregulated in tumor tissues compared with in adjacent tissues (Fig. 7), which was consistent with the results obtained with the bioinformatics analysis. This evidence concerns the gene CD44 and neoplasm.
