Interestingly, our result showed that the expression of ABCC4 and ITGB2 were strongly increased in NASH mice (relative expression levels 13.86 ± 4.02 and 5.22 ± 1.22, respectively) and was significantly decreased in YBT treated mice (relative expression levels 6.68 ± 3.86 and 1.70 ± 0.56, respectively). Here, ITGB2 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
