Although numerous previous studies showed that ceruloplasmin deficiency is associated with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurodegenerative diseases in patients and rat models (Jiang et al., 2015; Stelten et al., 2019; Diouf et al., 2020; Liu et al., 2020; Shang et al., 2020), little is known about the therapeutic function of ceruloplasmin in ferroptosis after ICH. This evidence concerns the gene CP and neurodegenerative disease.
