Remarkably, the Dnmt3b-deficient mouse liver showed severe hepatitis especially around the Glisson sheath as compared to the liver of Dnmt3b-wild type (WT) mice (Fig. 3B, left panels), with massive infiltration of macrophages (Fig. 3B, right panels) as well as the increased recruitment of neutrophils and lymphocytes (Supplementary Fig. S2A).
