Using logistic regression analysis significant positive association was found between increased risk for cardiovascular disease and BMI (OR: 3.12; 95%CI 2.21-4.39; P=0.02), hsCRP (OR: 1.41; 95%CI 1.08-1.83; P=0.007), TAS (OR: 827.2; 95%CI 19.27-35498; P=0.007) and GR (OR: 1.13; 95%CI 1.05-1.21; P=0.002) and negative association of increased risk for CVD with GPx (OR: 0.97; 95%CI 0.94-1.003; P=0.043) and HDL-cholesterol (OR: 0.41; 95%CI 0.176-0.963; P=0.0014) (Table 4).
