A very recent study, performed on a murine xenograft model, documented that the EVs isolated from the TRAIL expressing cell line 293T in combination with cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor (dinaciclib) successfully inhibited the growth of human lung cancer cell lines NCI-H727 and A549 and the human breast adenocarcinoma cell line MDAMB231 by inducing apoptosis [34]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFSF10 and lung cancer.
