Previous studies have shown that SIX3 acts as a suppressor in lung cancer by modulating proliferation and migration-related genes, such as S100P and TGFB3 [11], and the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is involved in SIX3 function in glioma development [12] and vertebrate forebrain development [13].
