Previous studies have also reported that S100P promotes cell migration and invasion in lung cancer [36], and that it regulates proliferation, apoptosis, and colony formation by mediating the nuclear translocation and expression of β-catenin in endometrial and gastric cancer [14, 15], suggesting that S100P similarly regulates lung cancer through the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Here, S100P is linked to gastric cancer.
