The ROC curve showed that SIRT1 had a good value in differentiating sepsis patients from HCs (AUC: 0.901, 95%CI: 0.868-0.934), with a sensitivity of 92.2%, a specificity of 77.2%, a FPR of 22.8% and a FNR of 7.2% at the best cut-off point with SIRT1 being 1.137 ng/mL (the value in which sensitivity plus specificity was the largest) (Figure 1B).
