TERT and breast cancer: Based on test results obtained from the two approaches on urine samples of the two case-control studies and on US cfDNA (n = 172) and UP cellDNA (n = 222) of the follow-up BC cases, we observed a strong correlation of urinary TERT promoter mutation MAFs for UP cell DNA (r2 = 0.94) and US cfDNA (r2 = 0.87), although the correlation was slightly less strong for the latter (Figure 5).
