In haplotypes of two SNPs, A-5G (OR, 6.503; p < 0.0001) of PAI-1 −844 G > A/PAI-1 −675 4G > 5G, 4G-A (OR, 0.059; p < 0.0001) and 5G-A (OR, 2.276; p = 0.0002) of PAI-1 −675/PAI-1 +43, and A-A (OR, 0.118; p = 0.0001) of PAI-1 −844/PAI-1 +43 are associated with CAD risk.
