Interestingly, lupus anticoagulant was confirmed positive in 6 patients with CeD and 7 control subjects, and only sporadic cases were positive for antibodies against β2-glycoprotein, prothrombin, and cardiolipin, not supporting the theory about thrombophilic autoantibodies in CeD (6). The gene discussed is F2; the disease is cranioectodermal dysplasia.
