Recently, we demonstrated that the chr8p gene SH2D4A (Src homology 2 domain-containing 4A) exhibits tumor-suppressive functions in vivo and in vitro by inhibiting the Interleukin-6 (IL-6) induced Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling pathway in HCC5,6.
