One year of PAP therapy was reported to induce anemia in some OSA patients [46], which makes us speculate that the occurrence of PRDX2 SO2/3 multimer after PAP may protect patients at a risk for exaggerated GAPDH SO3 tetramer associated eryptosis such as those patients with high plasma TG and/or glycated Hb. This evidence concerns the gene GAPDH and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
