Though several 99mTc-labeled PSMA inhibitors have been developed and evaluated in preclinical studies for prostate cancer detection [22,23,24,25,26,27], these studies have reported that 99mTc-labeled PSMA inhibitors have some limitations, such as high kidney uptake, requiring further purification after radiolabeling, and having unclear structures. This evidence concerns the gene FOLH1 and prostate cancer.
