As an extension of this work [19], the preclinical analysis by de Souza on hsa-miR-375/RASD1 [12] and our own data [11], the aim of the current two-phase study was to answer the question whether hsa-miR-375-signaling through one of the above mentioned targets, i.e., RASD1, ER-α and Sec23A, could predict LC in early breast cancer. Here, RASD1 is linked to laryngotracheoesophageal cleft.
