TLR4 and campylobacteriosis: Since resveratrol has been shown to interact with TLR-4 [49] and to alleviate inflammation-induced cell damage in vascular endothelial cells by suppressing the TLR-4-dependent nuclear factor (NF)-κB signaling pathway [50], this suggests another health-beneficial mode of resveratrol action when applied in murine campylobacteriosis.
