In agreement with these results, in a meta-analysis of 730 publicly-available transcriptomic profiles of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) specimens, Braud et al. [19] found a positive association of CLEC2D (encoding LLT1) and KLRB1 (encoding CD161) gene expression with favorable outcome. Here, CLEC2D is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
