NFKB1 and synovial sarcoma: In a large Greek cohort of SS patients, increased prevalence of the rs2230926 mutant variant was detected in both non-lymphoma SS and lymphoma-SS patients compared to controls, with the rs2230926 mutant variant being detected in approximately one fifth of SS-lymphoma patients with disease onset ≤40 years, leading to the conclusion that NF-κB pathway dysregulation results in increased lymphoma susceptibility especially in patients with early disease onset [123].
