Proteins with strongest TC2N interaction scores included STX2, SMEK2, SMEK1, STXBP5, SCARA5, MMRN1, CATSPER2, CATSPERB, CLEC4M and STAB2. All these proteins were also identified in the list of genes showing +ve correlation with TC2N expression in at least one of the TCGA tumour types, further suggesting their potential role in carcinogenesis. The gene discussed is CATSPER2; the disease is neoplasm.
