AKT SNPs would be associated with the susceptibility and/or prognosis of various types of cancer, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma(Zhang et al., 2014), oral squamous cell carcinoma (Wang et al., 2015), non-small cell lung cancer (Li et al., 2013; Kim et al., 2012), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (Avan et al., 2014), and gastric cancer (Wang et al., 2014).
