As shown in Table 5, rs1137100 in the LEPR gene was associated with a 0.65‐fold reduced risk of PCOS in the log‐additive model (OR = 0.65, 95% CI = 0.46–0.91, P=0.01), and with 0.02-fold (OR = 0.02, 95% CI = 0.07–0.62, P<0.001) and 0.21-fold (OR = 0.21, 95% CI = 0.07–0.65, P<0.001) in the codominant and recessive (G/G vs. A/A+A/G) models, respectively. Here, LEPR is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
