In this study, we found that there was an independent correlation between SUA, BNP, LAd, LVEF and LAT/LA-SEC in AF patients, and subgroup analysis found that the BNP level in LAT group was higher than that in LA-SEC group, with significant statistical difference, which may provide clues for high BNP to increase the risk of cardiogenic stroke and risk in non-valvular AF patients. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and atrial fibrillation.
