The expression of N-cadherin in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells co-cultured with CD133+ HPCs (1.8 ± 0.23, 2.3 ± 0.27 respectively) was significantly higher than that of co-cultured with CD133- HPCs (0.8 ± 0.19, 1.1 ± 0.17 respectively) and single breast cancer cells (0.9 ± 0.18, 1 ± 0.19 respectively; P < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CDH2 and breast carcinoma.
