In our study, after PE-induced cardiac hypertrophy cells were treated by miR-26a-5p agomir, the expression of LC3II and Beclin-1 proteins was increased and p62 protein expression was decreased in the presence or absence of lysosomal inhibitor, suggesting that high miR-26a-5p expression may promote autophagy in cardiac hypertrophy. This evidence concerns the gene BECN1 and cardiac hypertrophy.
