TGM2 and melanoma: Lentini et al. (2008) observed that the anti-invasion effect of transglutaminase(TGM) might lead to the post-translational modification of some components of the cell basal membrane, thereby interfering with the metastasis of melanoma cells. The activity of TGM2 had a protective effect on the progression of melanoma in vivo (Facchiano et al., 2013), but no studies had been conducted to prove the relationship between TGM1 and CM, so TGM1 may be a new potential marker.
