GAD1 and Hypoglycemia: Here, techniques for intracerebroventricular (icv) infusion of the aromatase inhibitor letrozole (LZ) were used in conjunction with high-resolution microdissection/Western blot techniques in a rat whole-animal model to address the hypothesis that neuroestradiol exerts sex-dimorphic control of VMN nNOS and/or GAD protein expression during eu- and/or hypoglycemia.
