When investigating the functional contribution of Yap and/or Taz in regulating Akt/NRas-driven hepatocarcinogenesis using conditional Yap, Taz, or Yap/Taz double KO mice, we discovered that Yap and Taz share redundant roles in regulating tumor cell proliferation and cholangiocellular-like tumor formation in Akt/NRas mice. Here, NRAS is linked to neoplasm.
