Comparison of immune cells from GL261 tumor–bearing mice to infection with ZIKV alone (no tumor) revealed that ZIKV generated a greater CD8+ T response than the tumor itself (~2.2-fold), whereas tumors were associated with greater numbers of NK cells than ZIKV alone (~4.5-fold) at day 21 after tumor implantation or 14 days after ZIKV treatment (Supplemental Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and neoplasm.
