In the diabetic patients, the frequency of CD19+CD24+CD38− B cells notably increased in the CHC-N and CHC-HCC patients compared with the controls (mean, 31.2 ± 3, 27.9 ± 3 vs. 14.3 ± 3, p < 0.0001, p = 0.004, respectively) and the CHC-LC group (p < 0.0001, p = 0.004, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene CD19 and cryohydrocytosis.
