Lu et al. recently demonstrated that in a murine model of autochthonous hepatocellular carcinoma, mice treated with dexosomes isolated from DCs that expressed α-fetoprotein (AFP) had remarkably more IFNγ-producing CD8+ T cells, enhanced levels of IL2 and IFNγ, fewer Tregs and reduced levels of IL10 and TGFβ [152]. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and hepatocellular carcinoma.
