They reported that SNPs in Deoxyuridine Triphosphatase (DUT), General Transcription Factor IIH Subunit 4 (GTF2H4), 2′-5′-Oligoadenylate Synthetase 3 (OAS3) and Sulfatase 1 (SULF1) gene regions were associated with HPV persistence, while SNPs in the Transmembrane Channel Like (TMC) 6 and TMC8 gene regions were associated with progression to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) 3 and cervical cancer [9]. This evidence concerns the gene SULF1 and cervical carcinoma.
