Age ≥ 60 years (OR = 2.946; 95% CI 1.072–8.097), sepsis (OR = 3.206; 95% CI 1.351–7.609) and elevated prothrombin time (OR = 1.079; 95% CI 1.004–1.160) were identified as independent risk factors, which may be associated with increased mortality rates among these patients (Table 4).
