ATR and breast cancer: In the study by Lee et al., univariate survival analysis revealed that low cytoplasmic p-ATR expression was significantly associated with poor DFS (HR = 2.2, 95%CI, 1.2–4.2, p < 0.05) and poor OS (HR = 2.3, 95%CI, 1.2–6.1, p < 0.05) (53). In the study of Abdel-Fatah et al., high ATR expression levels were associated with high tumor stage (p = 0.036), high tumour grade (p < 0.001), high mitotic index (p < 0.001), polymorphism (p < 0.001), and lymphovascular invasion (p = 0.009) in patients with breast cancer (54).
