By measuring CSF total Tau (t-Tau), phosphorylated Tau (p-Tau), and amyloid beta 42 (Aβ42) in AD patients undergoing 1 Hz M1 rTMS, Koch et al. have found that rTMS-induced inhibition correlated with t-Tau but not Aβ42 (123). This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and Alzheimer disease.
