CD4 and asthma: Our study newly introduced that PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling not merely diminished the effect of miR-15a-5p on Th1/Th2 balance in CD4+ T cells (Figure 8D), but also undermined the impact of miR-29c-3p on ASMC proliferation (Figure 7C–7F), which expanded knowledge about asthma pathogenesis.
