In our study, we utilized ELISA to measure the secretion of various proinflammatory factors and the results demonstrated that only IL-10 and IL-1Rα were increased in the T1D model after islet transplantation and IL-1α, IL-1β, CXCL2, MCP1 and TNF-α decreased significantly, indicating that islet transplantation in T1D mice exerted anti-inflammatory roles due to the mysterious reasons. The gene discussed is CCL2; the disease is type 1 diabetes mellitus.
