Multivariate analysis (Figure 5) including gender (male vs. female), B symptoms (A vs. B), IPI score (0–3 vs. 4–5), lymphoma subtype (DLBCL vs. other), iPET status (favorable iPET vs. unfavorable iPET), and HLA-E*01:01 allele carrier status (HLA-E*01:01/*01:01 or HLA-E*01:01/01:03 vs. HLA-E*01:03/01:03) showed that the HLA-E*01:01 allele carrier status was an independent prognostic factor correlating with complete remission in B-NHL patients at the end of treatment (p = 0.018; HR: 0.534; 95% CI: 0.318 to 0.898; n = 414). The gene discussed is HLA-E; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
