When comparing placebo with the 10 mg TD139 group after adjusting for baseline values, five of the 11 high-relevance plasma markers (PDGF-BB, plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI)-1, Gal-3, CCL18 and YKL-40) with a link to IPF pathogenesis were reduced (p<0.05). The gene discussed is CHI3L1; the disease is idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
