Other factors such as patient age (p = 0.4361, t-test), sex (p = 0.6872, Fisher’s exact test), history of cardiac disease (p = 0.8615, Chi-square-test), history of pulmonary disease (p = 1.0, Fisher’s exact test), tumor stage ((y)pT: p = 0.7241, (y)pN: p = 1.0, Cochran–Armitag-test), and preoperative albumin levels (p = 0.3747, t-test) had no statistically significant influence on short-term postoperative outcome.
