It was reported that GBP2 interacts with dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1) and blockstranslocation of Drp1 to mitochondria, thereby attenuating Drp1-dependentmitochondrial fission and invasion of breast cancer cells and may represent a newtherapeutic target to suppress breast cancer metastasis through attenuation ofDrp1-dependent mitochondrial fission (Zhanget al., 2017). Here, DNM1L is linked to breast cancer.
