Comparison of the studied GBP2 promoter region methylationpatterns in the different subtype of breast cancer group based on lymph nodeinvolvement, hormone (estrogen and progesterone) receptors, and HER2 situationsand TNM staging has been shown in Figure6.Our data indicated that stage III and IV, as well as lymph nodepositive groups with 100% GBP2 promoter methylation, hadsignificantly higher methylated promoter frequency compared with other studiedbreast cancer subtypes (p<0.001). The gene discussed is PGR; the disease is breast carcinoma.
