In a cohort of 53 patients with colorectal tumors, patients with high levels of exosomal miR‐146a also displayed miR‐146a(high)/Numb(low) colorectal cancer stem cell traits, which correlated positively with the amounts of cancer‐infiltrating CD66 neutrophils and negatively with cancer‐infiltrating CD8 T cells [89]. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and cancer.
