KEGG pathway analysis revealed that the DEGs were mainly enriched in ribosome, oxidative phosphorylation, Parkinson disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and Alzheimer's disease in the MCI group and AD group (Figures 1(b) and 1(c), Supplementary Tables 2 and 3) and in herpes simplex virus 1 infection, p53 signaling pathway, ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis, cell cycle, and prostate cancer in the advanced AD group (Figure 1(d)). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
