HLA-E and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma: Our data provide the first evidence that peptides derived from EBV latent cycle proteins can impair the recognition of NKG2A despite being presented by HLA-E, leading to NKG2A + NK cell activation, and suggest that blocking the NKG2A-HLA-E axis would be an effective strategy to eliminate EBV + B cell lymphomas.
